Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Thrift Shoppes, the Thrift Shoppe Manager is responsible for the effective and profitable operation of the store.
This person is responsible for the overall operations of a store, under the direction of the Director of Thrift Shoppes.
This includes supervising staff, volunteers, store presentation, merchandising and inventory rotation, customer service, store sales and store administration.
This hands-on position trains and supervises store associates and ensures a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 3-5 years of retail, thrift shoppe or consignment stop experience required Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required Must possess a valid Florida driver's license, car insurance and have reliable transportation ESSENTIAL JOB
Responsibilities:
Foster a positive workplace and team environment through open communication.
Cross-train store associates and volunteers to do various jobs within the thrift store.
Provide ongoing training, feedback and performance reviews for store associates.
Learn all job functions of the store and cover for various roles when required.
Attend and participate in regular staff meetings, communicating relevant events to the store associates.
Ensure a clean and organized store.
Ensure proper signage and store displays are updated on a regular basis.
Ensure stock is rotated regularly and merchandise is organized and displayed to maximize sales.
Operate the store to maximize product on the sales floor.
Maximize sales and ensure that store is achieving its sales target.
Implement promotions and seasonal events to achieve targets.
Ensure product pricing represents fair market value.
Establish sales objectives for store staff and monitor on daily/weekly basis.
Evaluate store sales on daily/weekly basis and investigate any unusual sales fluctuations Set example in customer service for employees, welcoming and responding to customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
Ensure customer concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Schedule store associates and volunteers to ensure effective coverage.
Ensure timesheets and payroll for employees are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain cash handling procedures and standards to record, balance, and deposit daily sales.
Report and document any variances in cash.
Order supplies and maintain appropriate supply levels.
Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for employees in the store, and report any workplace incidents in a timely manner.
Secure store premises on a daily basis.
Ensure that loss prevention processes and policies are consistently implemented.
This position will occasionally require working during non-operating store hours and holidays, which may include restocking days and promotional evening and weekend events.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
