Sr. Administrative Assistant

• Benefit responsibilities include COBRA administration

• Responsible for tracking and maintaining Leave of Absence files as well as all communication with employees on leave

• Assist HR Director with special projects

• Create, maintain and disseminate organization charts for most of the agency

• Create, maintain and disseminate reports from the ADP database

Administrative Assistant

• Log activity of incoming PAF’s using Access Software

• Collate and distribute materials to eligible benefit participants, distribute benefit ID cards, EOB’s, booklets, communication memos and pamphlets to employees

• Cobra Administration

• Create and maintain org charts for the entire agency using Org Chart Plus

• Prepare, track and distribute all employee anniversary awards

• Log and track New Position Request and prepare job postings as required

• Prepare employee newsletter and create and maintain personnel forms utilizing Microsoft Publisher

• Generate and maintain monthly statistical reports


Secretary Employee Relations

• Receive and direct phone calls as necessary

• Processing incoming and outgoing mail

• Create and maintain personnel files.  Perform necessary follow-up procedures to assure accuracy and completion.  File all documentation into personnel files and update information as necessary.

• Log activity of incoming PAF’s (Personnel Action Forms) using Q&A software

• Prepare and maintain employee new hire kits and supervisor’s manuals

• At the direction of the Manager, prepare employee newsletter and create and maintain personnel forms using desk-top publisher

• Generate and distribute 4/10 week evaluation notices on a weekly basis

• Prepare DPVs (Direct Pay Vouchers) for signature and maintain history files for purchases

• Assist Employee Relations Manager in maintaining personnel database



Kingsborough Community College   Brooklyn, New York         

  • Completed 54 credits toward Associates Degree



  • Proficient in Windows 2000/2010, MS Word, MS Excel, ABRA, Microsoft Publisher, Insperity Org Chart Plus, ADP Workforce

  • Thorough understanding and vast experience with PC’s and various office machines

  • Ability to manage a multiline phone system
